Opaaa!!!

Tonight the girls and I were treated to dinner at our favorite Greek restaurant in Encinitas. The American Greek Cafe has been a favorite in our family since we moved here in '94 and whenever we go there we are treated like family and the food is always really tasty. Fortunately the kids really love it here too. I think what they love more than the good food though are the owners Rita and Manny. The girls are treated like little princesses.

Anyhow some highlights if the evening were getting a little chuckle over dads Greek beer...

Also the girls love the saganaki which they refer to as "fire cheese". This is a traditional Greek cheese that they light on fire yelling "opa!"

Thanks to Nana and Pop for an amazing and memorable dinner! While this was not on our bucket list, dining here is a definite must each time we come to San Diego.
